Mums-to-be
have more choice than ever before when it comes to how they want their pregnancy and labour to be.
Using hypnosis
for positive relaxation during pregnancy can remove the sometimes severe effects of Hyperemesis and nausea associated with
pregnancy.
In addition, positive visualisation techniques are now commonly used to ensure an enjoyable labour and
pain managed delivery.
The results and effect of hypnosis and relaxation has a positive bearing on the newborn
baby with reports conducted over the last 15 years identifying that children born this way are happier and more content then
their counterparts.
Studies undertaken in the UK have indicated that babies seem more content, restful and calmer,
not just prior to birth but for many months and even several years later.
Our work together is held on a private
“One to One” basis in four two hour sessions, usually at between 20 and 36 weeks. These sessions cover the following
topics:
1. Introduction to Hypnosis, Birthing Techniques and Positivity
2. The Partner’s role
in labour and Pain Control
3. Pain Control and their techniques
4. The Birth – what to expect
and how to have a Perfect Birth
Babies have now been born at home in Cumbria, at The Cumberland Infirmary (Carlisle),
The Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary (Dumfries), at home in Tyne and Wear and at the Royal Victoria Hospital (Newcastle)
using these techniques – with tremendous results.
Please telephone for an initial discussion without obligation.
